the title of this post came from a cmj panel description that i thought was pretty funny. did anyone go to the one about music blogs? i think scott from stereogum.com had posted something about going. i have no idea. i'm outta the loop. whatever.

also, i'm glad to see the modern age has quit "temp" life and is now back in full force. yay, now maybe i'll get back into the loop. i'll just refer to laura! just like the good ol' days. sweet.

the arcade fire/hidden cameras/dirty on purpose show at bowery ballroom is sold out. for those of you who got tickets in advance, kudos to you. you were smart or psychic -- take your pick. luckily i bought like 10 tickets to the show before it sold out, and if i have extras left over after i work out the list sitch, i will give away some through the dirty on purpose mailing list. so join the band's email list and be on the lookout for a special email giving away a pair of tickets...
