is this really happening?

last night i was at the practice space, making sampler cds. we were all there, and suddenly like, "holy shit. we're playing bowery ballroom tomorrow. holy shit!"

it just hit us. woosh. and we are super psyched beyond belief. it's been one of our dreams to play that stage, and it's finally happening! on top of that, we're opening for a band we really like -- a band we listen to because we think they're awesome. we're in total awe. it's so surreal. my stomach is in knots. i'm nervous, happy, excited, and feeling sorta insane. my nerves are tingling.


if you have tickets to the show, doors open at 8 and dirty on purpose hit the stage at 9 p.m. sharp. shows at bowery typically start right on time, so come a little earlier than 9 to catch the show! i can't wait to see you all tonight. give me a hug. i'll need it, i'm so nervous!!

also i can't wait to see hidden cameras. the new yorker described them as a gay male supremes!!! and the arcade fire -- i am prepared to go nuts!
