the cure to the winter blues

i'm listening to the acoustic version of the cure's "just like heaven" and it takes me to a place where there are warm kisses, fluffy clouds and gentle caresses. too sickly sweet, right? whatever. i sigh! if i ever meet a person who doesn't like this song, i would have some kind of heart failure. it's one of those quintessential songs that defines any youthful generation, a universal whimsy. it makes me want to close my eyes and twirl around the room with my hands outstretched. yeah!
