When was the last time you went to see a show at CBGBs? How many times have you gone in the last two years?
Nobody worth seeing plays there anymore -- rarely, at least. It is a shell of it's former self. I say let it die and remember the good old days.
Or, carefully dismantle the insides -- the bar, the stage, the bathrooms, EVERYTHING -- and reassemble it in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. That I would sign a petition for.
