nostalgic music, especially4u
today i'm relying on some music to keep my spirits up and bumpin'. yeah, that's right. i said bumpin'. so old school -- haha. anyhoo, today i've added to the jukebox above the very phil spectorish go! team song "ladyflash," the wonderfully sparkly "this modern love" by bloc party (one of my current favorite jogging songs), hollertronix retro dance mix in "don't get it twisted" and last but not least, time machine's "especially4u," "spelling bee" and "a million and one things to do." they are wonderful old-school style hip-hop in the same vein as de la soul. keep an ear out for them. they will be coming out of the underground soon with new music!
