allmusicguide has added music videos to the mix of random and rarely updated information on their site. even though the site is totally r&r, it is pretty damn useful as i have to look up information on it every single day... if not hourly.

i'm revisiting the shins this week. the mood is set.

i went to see a filter screening of shopgirl last night with joe and mary. i expected the worst. i didn't get the worst, but i got uncomfortable watching the film. it was better than i expected, but unpleasant to watch. i mean... after steve martin and claire danes first sleep together, and he asks, 'can i make a speech?' -- i felt my heart skip a beat. i knew what he was going to say, but i was surprised at her answer. us women can be so friggin dull in desperation, eh? jason schwartzman's character was cutely awkward and good for comic relief, but guys like that don't exist, do they? ha.
