new slang

time for another edition of new slang terms to add to your vocabulary...

"brand new": jedd told me about this kinda southern slang from back in his virginia days. "brand new" is what you call someone who's trying to front. maybe you've hooked up with them, and then the next time you see them, they try to act like nothing happened or it ain't no big thang. so you say, "aw, look who's tryin' to be all 'brand new.'" or maybe you see someone who suddenly thinks they're the shit or who's all bragadocious. they're not only trippin', they's think they's all brand new!

"i'm the poo... take a whiff." jenna said this the other day, and i thought it was the funniest thing you could say. she admitted it was a line from her favorite cheerleading movie, bring it on! ah, the memories.
