After the Jump Fest Prevails!

Thanks to everyone who came out to After the Jump Fest this past weekend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a wonderful day full of great music from bands and seeing the slew of friends there -- both new and old -- was so awesome. Thanks to the neighborhood for being so cool about the festival -- and I would just like to give a virtual high-five to my fellow ATJ bloggers for really pulling together for a good cause. Charity rules, and in the end of the day we raised thousands of dollars to aid music education in New York! I'm all about it!

Some highlights for me...

papercranes great performance on the day stage. (Rain Phoenix put in an especially impassioned performance while friends like Julia Stiles applauded her on...

Bryan Scary & the Shredding Tears really took us to Scaryville with their performance in their scary gray jumpsuits. Men at work from the dark side of psychedelic rock.

Chairlift put in a beautiful performance inside of Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Bell also captivated with her cute sounds in Galapagos.

Oh and this sweet tooth also loved the fact that the Ice Cream Man parked its van on North 6th street and cooled me off with a much loved fruit bar. Yum.

Coloring in my new Gen Art Pulse tote bag. Thanks to the Pulse for that! Fabric pens rule, and they are still around, peoples. Get crafty!

I wish I had gotten a chance to see a few other bands during the day like Phil and the Osophers and Pela (I love and miss you guys!!) and other acts during the night like DJ XXXchange and Health. Alas, I had to jet to my other job as band manager. More about that later...
