it's showtime!

as some of you know, annabiotica and i book shows every once in a while. why? so that you get exposed to some bands you haven't seen 10,000 times. some bands that you don't have 5,000 photo galleries of. that's why you should come out, support and join the dance party extravaganza this friday, august 29th, at sin-e with cherry (or their new moniker now is ratatat -- featuring acclaimed dj e*vax and mike stroud from dashboard confessional), de-regulator, saintface (for you moz fans out there!) and the eaves (on ace fu). it's going to be good ol' fun, and i can't wait! and guess who's going on tour with interpol and the stills? yeah that's right. ratatat!! kudos to the boys for landing that fine gig.

next week the stills are playing sin-e. i have to warn you, there are a very limited amount of tickets available to the public so grab them while you can. everybody i know wants to go to this party. and if you haven't heard yet, ambulance and the dears have canceled and the blue sparks, the fever and the blondes inc have been added... however, the special people will drink lots of beer, watch the new stills video for "still in love", watch the band rock out, and party on down.

tonight i am going to see two of my friends' bands: qatsi and folksongs for the afterlife. if you have been to our past OTM shows, you know that these are two amazing bands that stretch emotion and wonder to new levels. be there with me and experience the greatness...

...and if you don't know mr. ebenezer d. luxx, open up the latest barney's new york special rock star men's catalog. can we say hot as hell? he's all over this catalog... i think i saw him wearing gucci, too. we will have to scan in the photos for future evidence.
