Too Many Goodbyes
One of the funniest things (and perhaps most awkward) is saying goodbye to someone too many times in one night. This goes along too many thank yous as well. The show is over and you say your goodbyes and thank yous. Then after the doors are closed, you run into the person you just bid adieu upstairs at the bar, and you feel compelled to say goodbye or thank you again. “Thanks again!” or “Have a good night!” But the worst is when you run into them the dreaded third time when you’re smoking a cigarette outside or going to the bathroom before you leave… and it’s the same vicious cycle over and over again. Anybody else feel this way? How many times can one say goodbye and thank you? Maybe mix it up with a pat on the back or arm or a good ol’ fashioned “Take care.”
